Hello again! Serin just got home, and they had a black eye. I offered to help them fix it up, but they said it'd be healed in the morning. And like, I've heard of fast healing, but that's a little too unrealistic, don't you think? Anyway, hopefully it isn't too sore tomorrow for them. Something else I forgot earlier, my orientation for school is tomorrow! I'm very excited to be studying art history, which apparently makes me a huge nerd. And I mean, I knew that, Mack, but harsh. Harsh, dude. Anyway, I'll post tomorrow to talk about that, but for now, I'm going to bed. Goodnight!

Oh. my. gosh. internet. I absolutely adore Hamburger the cat. She's so friendly! I was working on my laptop in the living room and she just came and sat beside me, purring. Apparently she gets really lonely while Serin is at work (they're the head chef of a restaurant, so they have crazy hours) and needs lots of pets from the other roommates, which I'm all for. Although she doesn't seem to like Jerica very much. Mack is definitely her favourite besides Serin, though. He always smells a little bit like fish, maybe that's why. Jerica works from home, mostly. She's a YouTube vlogger, and spends most of her time locked in her bedroom recording. There's a sign on the fridge that has a list of everyone's allergies… Mack is vegetarian, Serin is allergic to nuts, and Jerica can't have garlic or rice, so we don't keep any in the apartment. Hello internet! I love the prospect of using this website to jot down stories from my day instead of writing it into a book! I started keeping a diary when I was twelve, and here we are now, age 19 and moving into my first apartment. I was moving to a city for school, and was having trouble finding affordable lodgings. Good news, I found a great place! It's a ten minute bike ride from campus, and because there are three other people living here the rent is not too bad! Bordering on insanely cheap for a four bedroom apartment… Jerica pays most of the rent, I believe. Something about a large inheritance was mentioned. Okay so on first impressions, my new roomies seem pretty great! There's Jerica, she's so sweet!
